Guangzhou Evergrande coach Marcello Lippi has indicated that Dario Conca will remain at the club this summer.
The 29-year-old midfielder only joined the Chinese side last July but is reportedly seeking a move back to Brazil.
Fluminense, Flamengo and São Paulo are all interested in acquiring Conca’s services, but Lippi insists that the Argentine player is very much a part of his plans at Guangzhou.
”Conca has a very important role in the team,” Lippi is quoted as saying to Globo Esporte. ”He has played almost every game since he arrived.”
The playmaker recently handed in a transfer request and admitted that he is keen to return to Fluminense.
