Former FIFA president Joao Havelange and executive committee member Ricardo Teixeira took millions of pounds worth of bribes from collapsed sports marketing company ISL, according to court documents released today.

Havelange, 96, and Teixeira, 65, may have received as much as 22 million Swiss Francs from the company, with Teixeira alone receiving more than 12.74 million.

The duo were the only named officials in the report, with other identities kept anonymous.

Havelange headed FIFA as President until 1998 after 24 years at the helm, whilst Teixeira stood down as head of the Brazilian Federation earlier this year after 23 years at the helm.
