Corinthians defender Leandro Castan evaded questions over his future after his side’s Copa Libertadores triumph, following reports that he will sign with Roma.
Leandro Castan, 25, was a key fixture in the Corinthians defence that leaked only four goals all campaign in the Libertadores, but Corriere dello Sport has already broken news of his impending exit.
The defender, though, insists that he will only think about his future once he has properly celebrated the club’s success.
“It will be hard to say goodbye now,” admitted the defender. “I’ll need to see with the board and we will only get to speak on Monday. Now we celebrate because we worked hard to get here.”
