Diego Forlan will not be leaving Inter Milan this summer, according to the forward’s father.
The Uruguay international switched to the San Siro from Atético Madrid last August but only found the back of the net twice in an injury-hit campaign.
Forlan was recently in talks with Atlético Mineiro over a possible transfer, but his father Pablo believes his son will stay at Inter Milan.
”For the time being there is no negotiation with any club,” Forlan senior told the club’s official website.
”As it is now, he will remain at Inter. He has one year left on his contract with the Nerazzurri.”
