AC Milan have announced that Thiago Silva will not be leaving the San Siro this summer.
The Brazil captain looked set on joining Paris Saint-Germain after Milan’s vice-president Adriano Galliani flew out to the French capital on Tuesday to negotiate a deal with the French club.
However, Galliani returned to Italy on Wednesday and admitted that the final decision would rest with AC Milan’s president, Silvio Berlusconi.
On Thursday evening, the Rossoneri released a statement on the club’s official website which read: ”The president Silvio Berlusconi has decided: Thiago Silva will stay at Milan.”
