AC Milan forward Antonio Cassano has urged the Rossoneri to keep hold of the world’s ‘best defender’ Thiago Silva.
The Brazilian international is currently in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a potential move to the Parc des Princes.
Cassano, however, believes that if AC Milan end up to cashing in on Thiago Silva then the club would not be able to compete for the Serie A title next season.
”Without Thiago Silva, at most we would qualify for the Champions League,” the Italy international told reporters. ”He is the best defender in the world, and without him we lose 50 per cent of the squad.
”He is irreplaceable. He should not be sold at any offer.”
