The 19-year-old is fast becoming one of the most sought-after players in the world, with the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Inter Milan and Real Madrid all believed to be interested in the Brazil international.
However, Baptista insists that São Paulo do not want to sell the player, who’s contract includes an €80 million release clause.
”We have no interest in letting Lucas go,” he told Rádio Estadão ESPN.
”Lucas also said he has no interest in leaving São Paulo. If it’s to discuss a transfer, we have to talk about the buy-out clause, as we know his market value is much higher than what has been offered for him.”
