Luiz Adriano, 25, has lead the Shakhtar line since the departure of Brandão, winning four Ukrainian league titles and a UEFA Cup, to add to his previous Club World Cup title.
“It has been five years now in Ukraine. A return to Brazil would be interesting. I am not saying it is my aim, but it would be good to return,” Luiz Adriano told reporters.
“My preference would be to go to Internacional, evidently. All my family is there and it is the club that made me as a player.”
The 2011/12 season saw Shakhtar win a domestic double, fired on by 16 goals from the dangerous Brazilian striker.
