The Brazil international has played a key role in the Dragão’s Portuguese Primeira Liga triumph this season, with his performances attracting interest from a host of Europe’s top clubs.
Recent reports have suggested that Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are particularly keen on capturing Hulk’s signature, but Pinto da Costa insists that Porto will not sell the 25-year-old unless a club activates the €100 million release clause in the player’s contract.
”I say today what I said a year ago, I will do everything to keep Hulk at Porto. I’m not interested in selling him,” he told Porto TV.
”Hulk has a price and we are not going to negotiate and accept an inferior price to that of his clause, our desire is for him to be in our squad next season.”
