Anderson, who celebrates his 24th birthday today, was stopped as part of Operation Balada Segura as he left his parent’s house in the Rio Grande do Sul city.
The former-Gremio star returned to the house to gather his papers said his Portuguese management agency Gestifute, before being allowed on his way by police.
The Man Utd star was not the only football star to be stopped in the operation, with Brazil manager Mano Menezes and Corinthians’ Emerson also reportedly refusing tests.
