Dedé, 23, has been winning plaudits for the last eighteen months and is now seen as the undisputed best centre-back in Brazil, meaning a move to a top European side is surely not far away.
“There has been nothing yet,” said the defender when asked about concrete offers.
“I was with the national side and a reporter came to ask me if I would go to Juventus. I said I like the team, which is a great European club, but for now my focus is all on Vasco.
“Speculation doesn’t bother me, but I am happy with the comparisons. They compared me with Ferdinand, who is a great defender, but I have total focus on Vasco.”
