2012 is a special year for Flamengo and Fluminense, as it’s the Carioca rivals 100th anniversary. Fluminense have made a request to the CBF, suggesting that the two sides face each other on the 8th July – the day after the anniversary of the first ever ‘FLA-FLU’ match.
