The 22-year-old right-back was carried off on a stretcher after just 22 minutes in Thursday’s Europa League encounter against Manchester City.
Porto didn’t state how long Danilo will be out of action for, but the player believes he will return in six weeks. He wrote on his Twitter page:
”Thank you for the support! It was less than we expected, thanks to God. In a month and a half I’m back.”
