On Friday reports in the Brazil claimed that Villarreal"s deputy director of football José Manuel Llaneza was in Brazil to discuss São Paulo"s interest in forward Nilmar.
"[This information] is boring. We have no interest in Nilmar," Lopes told ESPN Brasil.
"We don"t know anything about Villareal"s vice-president coming. We are not doing any negotiating."
Lopes did however confirm that São Paulo were in talks with Nilmar"s agent a few months ago.
"There was negotiations with his agent but we gave up. The numbers they gave us were just not realistic."
