French news agency AFP published a report on Thursday claiming PSG had agreed a €35 million fee with the Rossoneri.
However, Pato has since released a statement on AC Milan’s official website reaffirming his loyalty to the Italian club.
”I am staying at Milan. Milan is my home. I want to contribute to write history of this club and to add further achievements and joy to this club with happiness and perfect harmony in the group.”
”This joy will give me an added strength to face future games with more enthusiasm, will to win and hunger for goals. For me today is a special day. I want to thank the president Berlusconi, the club and the fans, who have always believed in me.”
AC Milan have also released a statement explaining the Brazilian’s intention to remain at the club.
”AC Milan announces that Alexandre Pato will remain with the Rossoneri outfit. The striker has decided to continue his young, splendid and winning career with Milan.”
