The 20-year-old Brazilian is in Europe currently, having been awarded the Golden Boot award for the best player at the under-20 World Cup and was presented with his award in Zurich ahead of the Ballon D’Or celebrations.

The player has long since been unhappy at São Paulo with the lack of first-team opportunities and the return of Luis Fabiano, combined with the club’s active pursuit of attacking players has done little to improve his feelings on the matter.

It is reported that he has instructed his agent to find a club in Europe and he is in the sights of Mark Hughes’ QPR, with a cut-price deal potentially available. QPR are desperate for better forward options this season, with goals a real commodity at Loftus Road.
