The former Brazilian international quit Hamburg to play for Qatari side Al-Gharafa last July, but having spent just six-months out in the Middle East, the veteran midfielder has admitted he misses everything about the German league already.
”The competition, the pressure and even insults from the fans, I miss it all,” Zé Roberto told Der Spiegel.
”It’s too quiet here. After the summer, I will be back in Germany or Brazil.”
The 37-year old explained he won’t be hanging up his boots until he reaches 40 and believes he’s still capable of playing at the highest level.
