Porto lands ‘Pitbull’

European champions Porto have completed the signing of the striker known as

‘The Pitbull’. Claudio Mejolaro has penned a four-and-half year deal at

Estadio do Dragao after agreeing terms with Victor Fernandez’s outfit. The

23-year-old spent last season with Gremio, but has left them for around .1

million after their relegation from the Brazilian first division. Mejolaro –

who should make his debut against Braga at the weekend – will be eligible to

play in the Champions League.
