Brazil went into Sunday night’s decisive encounter with Uruguay needing just a draw to clinch the title and ran out emphatic 4-0 winners to seal the tournament with a record of seven games played, six wins and a draw.

Before the tournament, much of the talk had been regarding Santos starlet Gabriel Barbosa, but the star of the show turned out to be Vasco forward Mosquito who won the prize for the tournament’s best player, as well as finishing as top-scorer.
