The fifty seven year old arrived at the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo on Friday evening, where it’s believed he’s been treated with a bad case of food poisoning. Socrates had a meal with his wife and a friend which resulted in all three of them feeling unwell.
In August, the former Brazilian captain was treated in hospital for a stomach haemorrhage, then a month later returned with liver problems, which had taken seventeen days to recover from.
