At eighteen, Rafinha Alcantara, is believed to be one of Barcelona’s up and coming stars. Youngest son of former Brazilian international, Mazinho, and brother to Spanish international, Thiago, the star of Barcelona’s B side insists that, unlike his brother Thiago, he has not yet decided on whether to play for Spain or Brazil.

The attacking midfielder told Catalan radio, La Graderia de Ona FM, ”I’m young and I still have many things to decide.”

Rafinha was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and has already been called up for Spain’s Under-19’s. However the Barcelona youngster still has option to decide on which country he wishes to play for, having not yet appeared for either nation’s senior squad.
