Both Fabio, and Montillo recieved their third yellow card in Cruzeiro’s 2-2 draw against Ceara on Sunday and will now have to serve their one match suspension in the Mineiro classico.
To stay in the top tier of Brazilian football, Cruzeiro might have to beat their arch rivals or hope Ceara and Atletico Paranaense slip up against their local rivals, Bahia and Coritiba respectively.
Relegation for Cruzeiro could result in losing their star player, Montillo, as the Argentine has attracted strong interest from league leaders, Corinthians.
