The CBF president, Ricardo Teixeira, has recently been making changes in the way Brazilian football is governed and admited to Brazilian daily newspaper, O Globo, that he would hand over the WCOC presidency to Ronaldo.

Speaking to the Brazilian press at the Brazilian F1 grand prix, the former three times world player of the year revealed he’s had no contact with Teixera.

“I don’t know anything about that, there hasn’t been anything. I’m surprised by all this speculation,” Ronaldo said.

On Friday, Teixeira named Corinthians President Andres Sanchez as the football director of  Brazilian football, handing over the responsibility for the country’s national teams in all age categories.
