The Santos ace picked up the award in an event held in Sao Paulo and was presented with a €24,000 check.
Delighted with the award, Neymar said, ”It’s been a wonderful year, but it hasn’t finished yet. We have the Brasileirao to finish and the World Club Cup to play in.”
Santos’ first game in the FIFA World Club Cup will be on the 14th December, where they will face either Monterry (MEX), Auckland City (NZ) or the Japanese league champions – which is likely to be Gamba Osaka, Kashiwa Reysol or Nagoya Grampus.
