Goals from Felipe Bastos and captain, Dede, kept Vasco’s treble dream well and truly alive.
Having already won the Copa do Brasil earlier on in the year, making the Copa Sudamericana semi finals and now level pegging Corinthians on points at the top of the table, Vasco could well end the year as treble winners.
Despite being on the same amount of points as Corinthians, the Paulista side has picked up one more victory than Vasco over the course of the season, this being the reason why Corinthians lead the championship.
