The twenty six year old striker was reported to be involved in Gremio’s propsed deal to Palmeiras for striker Kleber. However LANCENET has reported that Lima will now remain at the Gaucho club ragardless on whether Kleber signs for Gremio or not.
When the Palmeiras vice president was asked by members of the press about whether Kleber will sign for Gremio, Roberto Frizzo said, ”the negotiatian is still in progress. So it wouldn’t make sense for me to make any further comment when nothing has been signed yet. Every moment another conversation happens, then a change of situation. It could involve athlete a, b or none.”
Kleber and his agent Giusseppe Dioguardi were in Porto Alegre on Wednesday to try and negotiate a deal with Gremio. After meeting with Gremio officials, Kleber asked the Tricolor club to give him and his family forty eight hours to come up with a decision.
