The twenty five year old’s future looked all but over after failing to show up to training ahead of Flamengo’s big game against Gremio. Luxemburgo ordered the player to train away from the rest of the squad and left him out of the side for Flamengo’s two games against Gremio and Cruzeiro.
But after clearing the air with Luxemburgo, Willians returned to Gavea training centre on Wednesday and was well recieved by his fellow team mates.
It is not yet known whether Luxemburgo will include Willians in the squad ahead of Flamengo’s fixture against Coritiba this Sunday.
