Only yesterday, Sambfoot reported that the player was interested in a return to Brazil, with Atlético Mineiro likely to try to win-back their former star.
Now, Palmeiras are admitting an interest and the battle for the star striker is unlikely to end there.
“Any established name such as Tardelli may be of interest,” said Arnaldo Tirone, President of Palmeiras.
“We have to see the whole situation, judge whether the player wants to return.
“He is a great player, he has already shown that. Any good player can come play at Palmeiras.
“It would be a great option, we just need to see if it’s feasible.”
