The former Inter striker was a two time Copa Libertadores champion with the Porto Alegre club and this coming Sunday will be his first ecounter against his former side.

In Sobis’ second spell at Inter, the clubs officials claimed that after going under the knife in 2009, Sobis was not the same player and for this reason the club didn’t want to turn his loan spell in to a permanent contract.

However, Sobis prefers to ignore the excuses telling Rede Globo, ”I’d rather not read to much in to it.” He continued, ”coming to Fluminense was really good for me. They believed in me, so for this I must do my best.”

The Beira-Rio is expected to be a sell out, with both teams competing for a place in next years Copa Libertadores.
