Palmeiras currently own 50% of Kleber’s economic rights, in which the other 50% belongs to Cruzeiro.

The Paulista club are keen to off load Kleber since the striker fell out with coach Luiz Felipe Scolari and Grêmio have made it publicly known that they want to bring the 28 year old to the club.

Grêmio’s executive director Paulo Pelaipe today told the press, ”the proposals have been submitted. The negotiations are underway with the representatives appointed by ourselves and Palmeiras.”
