During the European transfer window, Corinthians tried to negotiate a deal with Manchester City for Argentine striker, Carlos Tevez. However the Paulista club ended up pulling out of the deal two days before the Brazilian transfer window shut, claiming they had ran out of time to complete the deal.

Corinthians have revealed they still have the desire to bring Tevez back to Brazil, as long as the Argentine decides to leave Europe. The Corinthians president Andres Sanchez told LANCENET! ”If Tevez decides to leave Europe, he will come to Corinthians. I can not be more clearer than that. He is one of Corinthians’ greatest idols.”

Tevez’ future with Manchester City still remains unclear, but coach Roberto Mancini revealed he will allow Tevez to play for City again, if he apologies for refusing to warm up.
