The Brazilian believes that Milan, his club since 2009, will have a great season competing in the Italian league and the Champions League, with both titles a possibility.
“I’m glad when they speak well of me, but I’m sure this third year at AC Milan will be better than the previous two,” said the defender.
“In the future I would like to become a captain and a leader here in Milan. i am far from that, but it is my desire.”
The Italian club bought the defender from Fluminense in December 2008, with the player finally registered in the summer of 2009.
Thiago Silva has gone from strength-to-strength, building a successful career at the San Siro and also surpassing Juan in the Brazilian set-up to become a regular alongside Lúcio in recent years.
