Santino Montillo, who suffers with Down’s Syndrome, underwent abdominal surgery and the nineteen month old child is currently recovering.
The crowd showed their support by holding banners saying “Come On Santino’ and chanting ‘Santino is a Warrior’, as Montillo played before missing a penalty in the 1-1 draw with Corinthians.
