Speaking exclusively to LANCE!, Lucas has spoken of his experiences this season and hopes for the title.
“I want to help and contribute. Making goals, scoring, passing and giving life to the team.
“More than anyone, I want to be champion and I will pursue it. We have quality, but we need to win back the fans and fight for the title.”
Lucas is fully aware that the team must stop giving away winnable points and that they need more self-belief if they are too achieve their aims.
“We have to focus and realize that we are good enough, we can win it, and that the title is up to us. You must keep running and have the will and desire to win.
“The result is not important to my career, even though it would be good. It is about the thrill of winning a title.
“I will not say that I am 100% right now. Despite being only 19, I am feeling it a little bit. I will stand up for the team and when I am tired, I can ask to be taken off.”
