Brazilian newspaper Estadão recently reported that the 19-year-old had a medical at the Sao Luiz Hospital in Sao Paulo for Real, prior to Santos’ 3-1 win over Corinthians on Sunday.
However, Lancenet quotes Neymar as saying: “I have been sold around 30 times already. There is no truth in those rumours. I am a Santos player and I will stay here for the club’s centenary.”
He went on to explain that he had visited the hospital, but not for the reasons reported, adding: “I went to the hospital to solve a personal problem. The rumours are just speculation. There is no deal at all.”
Neymar was constantly linked with a move away from Santos during the summer, and more recently it seemed as if he could be on his way to Barcelona or Real. However, his latest comments seem to confirm that his is happy to stay at his current club.
