He made particular reference to the crowd at the Morumbi for Rodrigo Ceni’s 1000th game for the club and that it is nice to watch it for once.
Piris commented: “I saw the game online and I really enjoyed watching the team. Also, especially the fans as I do like to see the stadium packed, I found it pretty cool. Ceni wanted to be there. Who wouldn’t want to be there?
“If we can go so well at home as we do on the road, then I think the fans will fill up more.”
Sao Paulo have good strength in depth in Piris’ area and he has praised Wellington in his position and knows he will have to fight hard to get his place back.
Piris continued: “They didn’t miss me as Wellington played really well. Jean also, you know, I think our cast in that area means we can fill absences.
“But now, I do not want to stay out of any and here you can’t get calm or quiet, but keep performing and train hard.
“Thats the way thiungs are and we need to improve to stay in the side and longer at the club.”
