Elano missed last night’s 2-0 defeat to Atletico Goianiense through injury, although he was already suspended and would have missed the game regardless.
Against Corinthians, he fell to the floor with no players around him in the 75th minute, with the cause of his injury unknown at the time.
But Dr. Mauricio Zenaide told Santos’ official website: “It was only a sprained ankle. It was nothing serious.”
