The Seleção have yet to win a friendly against a top side under Mano Menezes, having lost to Argentina and France and drawing against the Netherlands.
Speaking to ESPN, Pato said: “It is important for us to beat a strong side. We will work for it because we all want a win.”
Some are suggesting that the pressure is on the Brazil squad after a poor Copa America, but Pato says that playing for such a good side means that is always the case.
“The pressure is always on the Brazil national team,” he said. “Even when you are playing a weak side, or you are in training, there is always pressure.”
