Ganso stated after the final of the Copa Libertadores that he hoped to remain at Santos, but now Gazzetta dello Sport states that the young midfielder wants to move to Italy in January 2012.
The story also claims that Ganso will only move after helping Santos to try to beat European Champions Barcelona, and is hoping to finish off his current spell with the club by making them World Champions.
Adriano Galliani, the Milan president, is supposedly hopeful of signing the midfielder once he proves he is over his current injury problems.
