After five hours of travel from their hotel in the Southern region of Rio de Janeiro, the squad arrived at their luxury resort that will host them for the tournament. They are based in Los Cardales, a small town two hours from Buenos Aires.
The town will now be the home of Brazil while they are in Argentina. The hotel will provide a basis for players to train, eat and sleep. After every game, the Seleção will return to the base, where they have everything they need to recover.
Tomorrow at 9:00am, the squad train for the first time, with another training session taking place in the afternoon. Twenty players will be available for coach Mano Menezes. Neymar, Elano and Ganso play for Santos on Wednesday night and will travel to Argentina on Thursday.
Brazil’s first game is on July 3, in La Plata against Venezuela.
