Fluminense Vs Sao Paulo
The defending champion started the Brasileirao 2011 with a defeat.
Last night Fluminense lost 0-2 to Sao Paulo. It has to be said that Flu played without their main striker, Fred, who is still suffering from a cold.
Sao Paulo scored the first goal in the 33rd minute of the first half by Dragoberto. In the second half Lucas, the best player of the game, invaded Fluminense’s area and scored the second goal.
Coritiba Vs Atletico-GO
Coritiba lost at home against Atletico-GO 0-1. The goal was scored in the second half by Marcao on a cross by Thiago Feltri. It is a tough start for Coritiba who is playing the semi final of the Copa Do Brasil next Wednesday.
America-MG Vs Bahia
America celebrated their return in the serie A, where they hadn’t played for 10 years, with a win. Their first game of the season was against Bahia who scored first. 10 minutes into the first half, Souza transformed a penalty and put Bahia up front. But America came back in the game with a goal by Rodriguinho and other one scored by Coelho. Final score: 2-1 for America.
