On a trip in Chile, Pele had a few words about Leo Messi. A player that some consider as one of the all time best players in the world. But the former Selecao star doesn’t share this opinion. “People like to make comparisons,” he said. “But it seems they already forgot about Cruyff, Platini or Di Stefano, they were much better players then Messi.”
No surprise so far that Maradona doesn’t appear on his list. “Messi is the best player in the world,” he admitted. “I’m just waiting to see how long he is going to last. In the national team He is a different player. The difference is that in Barcelona it’s easier the team around him his stronger.”
