Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has openly expressed his admiration for Internazionale’s Brazilian sensation Adriano.
The Real supremo confessed that Adriano’s impact in Italy has made him one of the most attractive prospects in the league – but Inter have quickly warned him that any bid would fail.
“Without meaning to insult any other player in the Italian league, I think one player stands out,” Perez told a radio station.
“Inter’s striker Adriano has attracted out attention more than anyone else.”
Inter, inevitably, are desperate to hang on to a player that has been billed as the new Ronaldo.
“Perez is a big person in football and has the right to dream,” said technical director Marco Branca.
“But Adriano won’t move. He’s Inter’s present and future.”
