The Taça Rio continues this weekend with the tournament entering its third round of fixtures. Following an impressive 4-1 win over Botafogo, Vasco da Gama will be looking to pick up their third consecutive win on Sunday against Boavista. Boavista however may have other ideas, as they themselves have won their opening two fixtures and are top of Group B.

Fluminense supporters may have to wait a little longer before they can see Fred make his debut. The striker remains a major doubt for tomorrow’s home game with Macaé after failing to recover from injury.

Botafogo are also in action tomorrow and will be looking to bounce back from their midweek defeat to Vasco against Cabofriense, Flamengo meanwhile play Tigres later today.
