The forward started training with his new side Bragantino last Tuesday, but the club had to wait to announce the signing of the contract. The athlete’s name has not been included in CBF’s Daily Information Bulletin (BID).

Once his name has been registered, he will be available for selection against Botafogo

next Monday in Engenhão for the 21st round of the Brazilian.

Bragantino is also due to making the loan deal of midfielder Eric Ramires from Bahia official. Moving back, Helinho is already at Bragança Paulista to perform his medical examinations and finalize the details on the deal.

According to reports, São Paulo should receive R $ 3 million for Helinho’s loan, with a purchase option set at R $ 25 million for 65% of the player’s economic rights .His contract lasts until the end of April 30, 2023.

Helinho wasn’t a starter at São Paulo. He played ten games and had a goal this season. His last game was October 20th when Tricolor played against Binacional and beat them 5-1 at Morumbi in the farewell game of Libertadores.

Helinho started the season as a starter with the absences of Antony at Ajax and Igor Gomes (at the time called up by the under-20 team).

Bragantino have scored only 23 goals from 20 games so far in the Brasileirão. No doubt the arrival of another attacker will be very much welcome at the club.
