Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has compared Philippe Coutinho to Italy and Juventus legend Alessandro del Piero.
Coutinho joined Bayern Munich on loan from Barcelona earlier this week and Klopp, his former manager at Liverpool, sees similarities with the Italy playmaker.
He told Kicker magazine, "He is very dominant player who helps a team properly and who can shape them.
"He has to play, it will not be like that from day one but from that first day they will get a great player. He played his favorite position number ten relatively rarely with us.
"He can play a great eight and a really great left wing because he is strong in small spaces, but also fast enough for large spaces. He has an outstanding eye for the situation.
"Not since Alessandro del Piero have I seen anyone who finishes moves from the left to the inside from similar positions and angles with the same frequency [as Coutinho]."
