Atlético Mineiro director Eduardo Malu has confirmed that Bernard will be solid if an offer of €25 million arrives.

The Brazil international has been attracting the interest of a host of European clubs this summer, including Arsenal, Porto and Borussia Dortmund.

And the youngster"s agent hinted that the Copa Libertadores final triumph over Olimpia on Wednesday was to be his final performance for the club, with Maluf now confirming that a sufficiently large offer would see Bernard depart.

“The president [Alexandre Kalil] has already made very clear, if an offer of €25 million [£22m] arrives, he is going to sell and we will buy another player," Maluf told Radio Globo.

“If this offer did not appear, Bernard will stay at Atletico. He is young and can leave at the end of the year."

The player himself recently confirmed that he has offers from the Premier League on the table, among others, but it is down to the board where he will go.

“I"ll keep working until the board decides something about the transfer," Bernard told Sportv. “There are offers from English football, Shakhtar and Porto.

“I have said a thousand times that I want to stay, but it doesn"t depend on me now. I made it clear that, if I stay or not, I wanted to leave here with an important title. It"s up to God to decide if I stay or not, up to God, [Atlético Mineiro"s] presidency and the board."

Tottenham had previously been in the running for Bernard"s signature but his representative revealed earlier in July that Andre Villas-Boas" side had been priced out of the chase.
