The Brazil international returned to training on Tuesday after spending a month out on the sidelines recovering from a hamstring injury.
There were fears that Luiz would miss out on trying to help Chelsea win their first ever Champions League title, but the player has now declared that he will be back in action against Bayern Munich.
”I will play the game, I am preparing myself well, I trained during the whole day today and I did not feel any pain,” he told Globoesporte.
”Thank God I am feeling well. I am happy to be able to do what I like the most which is to play football, and be part of such an important moment like this.”
