PSG were reportedly close to signing the 22-year-old in the January transfer window, but the move eventually collapsed after Milan’s president, Silvio Berlusconi, decided that he wanted to keep the Brazil international at the San Siro.
Nevertheless, Ancelotti is still keen on keen on bringing Pato to the Parc des Princes. He told Rai Sport:
”Pato was one of our targets in January, and remains one of our transfer targets for the future. It’s true that he has been injured a lot, but I still consider him to be an extraordinary talent who can prove himself to everybody.”
Pato is under contract with AC Milan until the summer of 2014.
