The Uruguay international has struggled for both form and fitness since arriving at the San Siro from Atlético Madrid last summer, and reports have suggested that both Corinthians and Atlético are interested in the forward’s services.
However Forlan’s agent, Diego Bolotnicoff, told Lancenet that he has had no contact with either Brazilian club.
”Neither Corinthians nor Atlético Mineiro have asked me about Forlan,” he said. ”There is no possibility that he will return to South America at this time.
”He has never hidden the desire to one day play in Brazil, but for now he wants to stay with Inter because he wants to win something in their shirt.”
